Our Birds
Here at Dori's flock, we're a whole feathered family! Most or all of our birds are permanent residents, so if someone is up for adoption, it will say so in the caption. Take a look and meet the crew! Each of these birds has their own story and we are proud to be part of it. Thanks to a lot of hard work and donations from people like you, we can provide each bird with the love, care, and friendship he or she deserves.
Kim & Dori
Meet the woman behind the magic, Kim Meggison! From her dedication to birds here at Dori's Flock & Friends, to her involvement in community and volunteerism, Kim is always busy with birds. She is proud to contribute her skills in wild bird rehabilitation at Wild Wings Bird Rehabilitation, a local organization that gives her the opportunity to work with like-minded people and hone her skills in bird care. Kim is a lifelong bird lover who strives to make her dream of saving birds from homelessness a reality through her organization, Dori's Flock & Friends.
Dori is a beautiful blue and yellow macaw who is a valued member of the Flock & Friends family, as well as it's President! Be aware that all complaints are forwarded to Dori, who does not take them lightly and can be VERY loud. (Haha!) She enjoys eating salads prepared for her by her mom Kim and getting to know all the other birds in the flock.
