The birds featured in this gallery are current or former members of my flock, each with their own unique story. I’ve included them here to share my passion for these wonderful friends with the world and to celebrate the joy they bring to my life.
Kim & Dori
Meet the woman behind the magic. It's me, Kim Meggison! From my love for birds through Dori's Flock & Friends, to my involvement in community and volunteerism, I am always busy with birds. I am proud to have contributed my skills in wild bird rehabilitation at Wild Wings Bird Rehabilitation, a local organization that gave me the opportunity to work with like-minded people and hone my skills in bird care. I am a lifelong bird lover who strives to make my dream of saving birds from homelessness a reality!
Dori is a beautiful blue and yellow macaw who means the world to me and is a valued member of my Flock & Friends family, as well as it's head honcho! Be aware that all complaints are forwarded to Dori, who does not take them lightly and can be VERY loud. (Haha!) She enjoys eating salads prepared for her by her by me (AKA Personal Chef Kim) and getting to know all the other birds in the flock.
